My tastes have changed so much over time, it's impossible for me to really think of a clear favourite genre for holiday reading; I really just take the time to read what I didn't have time for while buried in the drudgery of school. Recently, though, I've started picking up biographies of queens or other historical women to read on breaks. (Lugged a massive book about the life of Queen Victoria with me on the plane when I flew home for Christmas; good read, bad idea, for it was super heavy.) I'm currently on Marie Antoinette.
