Couldn’t help but reflect as I explored the seawall near the Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria, Egypt, that despite being dressed differently, how similar the young women are there to our young women in North America, at least in how they choose to spend a leisurely day, being sure to document it for the social feeds.

I love these two pictures. These girls could be any girl, anywhere! Awesome post!
Thanks Edwina!
So true – things are so similar around the world, despite our small differences!
Amazing how few of us are aware of that though, especially when we see different clothing.
As they say, a pictures worth a thousand words…lovely.
Thanks Cynthia!
Gals will be gals, anywhere in the world. Loved this post and pics.
Thanks Inka!
Great observation. It seems that similarities are greater than differences. To bad that these types of observations are limited to travelers. The media images seen by the general public can be so skewed.
Could not agree with you more Michaela.
So true! Great shots. 🙂
Thanks Michael!
These photos make me miss Egypt so much! Lovely shots
Thanks Maria!
Love Egypt 🙂
Of course we’re more similar than different! So messed up that so many have come to believe otherwise.
Agreed. Love Egypt too!
i love that huge splash of waves!!
Thank you! Glad I caught the shot just then.
