“With Gary Burton on the Vibraphone” at Jazz on the Mountain

How often do you hear those words yelled out on a stage?

“With Julian Lage on Guitar, Jorge Roeder on Bass, Antonio Sanchez on the Drums and Gary Burton on the Vibraphone.”

Well you will hear them tomorrow (Saturday September 3rd, 2011) in Whistler as the New Gary Burton Quartet  takes the stage at the Whistler Olympic Plaza from 8 – 10 pm at Jazz on the Mountain. What is a Vibraphone?  Well, you shall have to come along to find out.

Another great day of Jazz with both a local and international mix, including Vancouver’s own Night Crawlers at Whistler’s North Shore Credit Union from 6 – 7:15 pm, who I will be checking out on my return to town.

As for today? If the pictures are any indication, I’d say a good time was had.
